FINALLY!!! A TITLE!!!

I finally have a title for my latest poem.. And I would like to thank my lil' sis Paula for helping me out with the title.. And we have come up with I Need Answers.. Please.. Enjoy the poem!!

Title help

As you noticed the last poem that I put up doesn't have a title yet.. I can't seem to find a good title for it.. If anybody can help me that would be awesome.. Hope to hear suggestions soon.. And thanks..

I Need Answers

Why do good things
Just never last?
I’m sure most of you are saying
That’s not true at all
Good things do last
So why hasn’t it for me?
Do I just have really bad luck?
Or is it just not meant to be
Cause I just can never explain it
It has happened to many times before
There just has to be an explanation
Or maybe it is just one of those things
That you can never explain
I just need answers fast
The sooner the better
Cause this just can’t keep happening
Or its just gonna drive me crazy
I just want to be one of those people
That can say yes, it is true
Good things do last
And when that time comes
I can finally be at peace
With the life that I have

Sounds of Heaven

I sit on the beautiful green grass
Just listening to the beautiful sounds around me
As I start to stare into space
All the sounds around me seem to grow louder
I hear the Orange-Crowned Warblers chirping away
I have never heard birds sound this beautifully
In the distance I hear beautiful singing like I never heard before
It sounded like Enya and Charlotte Church singing a duet
Their amazing voices mixing together in beautiful harmony
As I began to close my eyes
I heard the most beautiful voice
It sounded like a million angels singing a beautiful chorus
It gave me a good warm feeling inside
Made me feel in peace with everything that was going on
It called out my name and it brought a smile to my face
I opened my eyes to see where that voice was coming from
The funny thing is when I opened them
I wasn’t sitting on grassy meadow
I was sitting in a dinner table facing my beautiful girlfriend
She says to me “Baby why are you smiling?”
I say to her with the biggest smile on my face, “Oh nothing.”

The Perfect Feeling

I feel a cool breeze in the air
I feel the sun’s warmth all over my skin
I hear the birds happily singing their song
I lean my head back to feel the sun on my face
Letting myself relax as I enjoy this beautiful feeling
I laid down and ran my hands through the grass
I never felt grass this soft before
I never felt this way before either
This is an amazing feeling
It feels like all my problems have gone away
My heart is beating in a slow and peaceful pace
I feel very calm and very relaxed
I feel like nothing will ever go wrong again
Little did I know a huge smile
Was forming across my face
Then in the distance I hear a voice
It’s the most beautiful voice I have ever heard
It says “Hello?” as her voice echoes through the air
As I sat up, her voice gets louder and louder
For some reason her voice made my heart beat faster
I opened my eyes to try and find her in this beautiful place
But when I opened my eyes, I didn’t see a beautiful meadow
I was sitting in my office with my cell phone in my ear
I hear her voice again saying “Hello? You there?”
I replied back to her “Yes baby, I’m here”
She answers me “Are you okay?”
With a big smile in my face I tell her “Yeah! Everything is perfect”

The Perfect Smile

The darkness is all around me
I keep on running and running
Every breath seems like my last
I just want to get away from here
Away from all this darkness
So I continue to run, a little faster this time
I fall forward, tripping on a small stone
I hit the floor hard, feeling the pain
But I get up quickly, and continued to run
Then suddenly, a bright white light stopped me
It blinded my eyes so I couldn’t see
I tried to focus my eyes as much as I can
To try and see what was causing that light
Just then things started to clear up
Beyond the white light was a beautiful sight
There was this girl standing there
She was wearing pink skinnies and a purple hoodie
Her smile casting that beautiful white light
I start to look around me noticing all the darkness
Was being replaced by the beautiful whiteness
Then turning into this gorgeous garden
With bright green grass and beautiful colored flowers
Looking up at the sky I saw this beautiful sun
With it’s rays shining down on me, feeling its warmth
I look back at that beautiful girl standing in front of me
Her infectious smile also sends warmth through my body
Giving me this good and uplifting feeling I never felt before
I start to walk towards the girl with the beautiful smile
As I walk closer to her, her smile seems to brighten up
I feel my own smile growing on my face as I got closer
As I stand there and stare at her beautiful smile
I knew this was a beginning of something great

This Girl

There is this girl
A girl like no other
She’s beautiful and funny
She makes me happy when we talk
She’s artistic and a musical genius
She means a whole lot to me
I love her and she loves me too
We are just perfect for each other
We always have something to talk about
Our email conversations are never boring
We love each other with a passion
And I’m sure our relationship in bed
Will be just as passionate
We live very far away from each other
But yet it seems like we are so close
I can’t wait to hold her in my arms
To feel her soft skin against mine
I can’t wait to kiss her delicious lips
To have it press against mine
I just cant wait to be around her
She makes me happier than I have ever been
You know who you are
Me without you is like fish without waterI would die
I love you

The Final Encounter

I was having a walk down the street
It was a nice sunny day, the perfect weather
I was on my way to the store to buy some soda
When all of a sudden the sky starts to darken
I thought there was just a storm coming in
But the air felt different, the sky was much darker
In fact it’s the darkest I have ever seen it to be
Then loud thunders took over the skies
One loud thunder after another
But the noise these thunders were making
Were not like any noises I have ever heard
As I listened closely to the noise
The hair on the back of my neck stood up
They weren’t regular thunder noises
But laughter, the scariest laughter I have ever heard
As I closed me eyes, I covered both my ears
Trying to drown the laughter but with no prevail
The laughter still as loud as ever
Then all of a sudden it starts to rain
I opened my eyes slowly, trying to find a place to hide
But when I looked around me, I noticed something
It wasn’t normal rain that was coming down on me
It was black as oil, but as liquid as regular water
It started to cover the houses and the road
Everywhere around me seems to turn into darkness
I sat on the road, with both my hands on my ears
Being drenched with the black liquid
I try to scan the area again for a place to take shelter
All of a sudden, shadows shapes as hands
Started coming up from the ground all around me
The blackness the surrounded me started to turn into water
I feel the hands pull me under, as I sink into the black liquid
I tried to squirm myself free, but it didn’t do any good
Then I heard that voice, the voice that I never wanted to hear
It whispered in the back of my head, “You’re all alone”
“It’s time for you to finally come with me, to your endless sleep”
I tried to scream but one of the hands covered my mouth
As I sunk down the black liquid, tears streamed down my cheeks
Just when I thought it has finally taken me
A loud scream echoed the streets, tearing up into the blackness
“LEAVE HIM ALONE!!”I started to rise from the black liquid
Not feeling the tug of the hands
The blackness starts to fade
And the sun started to show itself again
The black liquid that covered my clothes
Dripped itself off, and my clothes became dry
Then I heard that voice again
But this time she wasn’t screaming
I heard her soft and sweet voice“I love you”
I looked up and smiled at what I saw
Her beautiful eyes staring back at me
“Are you okay?” she say, as I nod my head
As I collapsed into her arms she whispers in my ear
“I will keep you safe from your darkness”
I closed my eyes as I believed every word she said
She is here now, and my darkness is gone for good
As I fell asleep in her arms, I whispered “I love you”

The Missing Piece

Something is missing in my life
I feel very incompleteLike there is chunk of me
That is not there anymore
I tried everythingJust to find that missing piece
I sometimes sat alone in the dark
Trying my hardest to figure it out
Then one night, I fell asleep on the chair
I dreamed I was surrounded by darkness
Everywhere I turned I saw nothing but black
Suddenly a bang of white light shattered the darkness
I was blinded at first, then my eyes came into focus
I saw a figure standing in the light
Then it started walking towards me
Each step it took, the white light followed her
Then the figure was standing in front of me
Then her face cleared up and I saw that smile
The smile that made me happy each time I saw it
I recognized the person and it made my heart dance
It was the girl that I fell in love with the first time is saw her
Suddenly I awoke from the dream with a smile on my face
I have figured it out, she was the missing piece
Have I been so blind that I didn't see it?
That the missing part of me as been there all along?
She was the person that made me want to live again
She is the one that is able to make me smile when I didn't want to
She was the one that made me believe that love wasn't lost
Made me believe that there is chance for love for me yet
I realized now that this girl is my everything
She is the sun when im surrounded by darkness
She is the one, the only one that can make believe
That my life can be complete again.. I love her
I love her with every beat of my heart
I love you her, more than life itself
Because without her, my life is meaningless

Leting it out

There is this girl that I love with all of my heart
You may hate me to know this but I hurt her before
Not only did I hurt her once, but twice
It was the two biggest mistakes of my life
I was scared to lose her completely
But I wasn’t going to be shocked if I did
Especially after what I have done to her
I knew I deserved it and there was nothing I could do
I learned my lesson and asked her if she would take me back
I was surprised to hear that she said yes
She was going to take me back and it made me real happy
I promised myself that I won’t ever hurt her again
But I knew she didn’t trust me like she did before
But I’m here to prove to her that I’ve changed
I have given up smoking weed and drinking alcohol
I want to show her that I’m willing to change to make things work
I want to earn the trust that she had in me back
We don’t talk that much because she has problems
Problems that she needs to figure out on her own
I just want her to know, if she needs me for anything
Anything at all, I am here for her 24 hours a day
But because of this, she is afraid I will move on just like I did before
I won’t deny that I didn’t leave because of the distance
I felt like she was being distant and that made me want to move on
But that is one mistake I’m not ever going to make again
I promised her I wasn’t going to leave her
And that is one promise I intend to keep no matter what
She means the world to me and I would do anything for her
We’re going to show the world that distance doesn’t matter
She told me she would be going to college here
And that made me smile
Even though I know it’s not for another couple years
I am going to be here waiting for her no matter how long it takes
So I just want to say I’m here to stay
Nothing will ever take me away from you
You are my angel, you are my everything

Who am I?

There is something I can’t explain
Something that I’m feeling inside
I’m feeling this loneliness in me
But there is nothing for me to be lonely about
I’ve got the perfect friends, perfect job
My life is just perfect, yet is not
There is just something there and I need to know what
It’s taking control of my life
It’s making me behavior unpredictable
I’m never knowing what I might feel next
All I know is I need to figure it out soon
Before it completely takes over who I really am

The Beginning Part 2

I stay there waiting for him to grab me and take me away
Then suddenly the pain in my chest starts to disappear
I open my eyes to see that the darkness starts to vanish
The sun comes up and I hear the birds singing their beautiful song
I see a shadow on the ground and I know exactly who it belongs to
But when I looked up, it wasn’t who I was expecting
I don’t know why I expected her to be the one standing in front of me
Cause I knew she wasn’t going to want me back, she had made up her mind
But even if it wasn’t her, I was not sad one bit
Cause it was a familiar face, the one that I have been missing all this time
I stood up on my feet and looked into her beautiful dark brown eyes
She gives me a smile and I smile right back
I gave her a hug and she hugged me back tightly
I close my eyes and held her closer to me
She told me she loved me and I told her that I loved her too
We stood there holding each other close, with big smiles on our faces

The Beginning Part 1

I started to take a walk, wanting to be alone
I needed to get out, needed time to think about things
Then suddenly it comes without warning
Everywhere around me starts to turn black
My darkness, he has returned
I close my eyes and bury my face into my hands
Hoping for it to disappear
Then I fall on my knees, feeling sharp pains in my chest
It’s like a hand has taken hold of my heart and was squeezing it
The pain starts to worsen every second
I fall to my hands and knees whimpering in pain
He says to me, “It’s time to go Joey. There is nothing for you here.”
As his hand starts to reach out to me
I close my eyes waiting for him to finally take me away

The World Inside Her

I see a small window in front of me
As I take a few steps forward, it begins to grow
I look out, a smile suddenly appears on my face
I'm staring at the most beautiful place I have ever seen
A beautiful green meadow, clear blue skies and a bright yellow sun
I step forward, the grass soft beneath my feet
The window vanishing behind me
A soft breeze hitting my face, the sun's warmth soaking my skin
I sit down and close my eyes, just enjoying this beautiful feeling
This must be the happiest place I have ever been to
I slowly open my eyes, wanting to see this beautiful place again
I have never been this happier in all my life
As I stare at the distance the window begins to reappear
I guess this place is telling me it's time to go
I walk to the window and step through back to my world
I turned back around to the window wanting to see it one more time
The most beautiful place I have ever seen
But when I turned, there was no window
Just a pair of crystal blue eyes and the most beautiful girl I have ever seen

The Light That Guides Me

I feel a slight chill in the air
Storm clouds are coming in and I feel its presence
Sneaking on me from behind very slowly
Like a silent cheetah prowling on its prey
I know its coming back to get me, but I am not afraid
The sky is getting darker and the air is getting colder
Darkness is coming in, my hope nowhere to be found
A sound of thunder, darkness telling me that he is coming
The clouds take form, terrified of what I saw
An evil grin, a sinister set of eyes, my face staring back at me
It makes me weak and I fall on my knees
With hope nowhere to be found, my hands cover my face
With tears streaming down my cheeks, I wait for it to take me
But I felt nothing and I stare up into the sky
What I saw brought a smile to my face
A bright beam of light penetrated the darkness
Breaking the clouds apart, destroying the evil face
The sun shined bright on me, it was a beautiful sight
I stand up on my feet, staring at her beautiful face
Letting her warmth dry the tears in my eyes
I stretched out to her, but I could not reach
I should have been sad that I couldn’t go to her
But knowing that she's there, even if I can't hold her
I know my darkness can't take me away anymore

Hope is here

The darkness is gone
My eyes still adjusting to the light
I’m noticing things for the first time
Noticing the beauty of this new environment
Being in the dark, you forget the faces you knew
But there was a face I could never forget
She is both beautiful and exquisite
Both smart and intelligent
The one I knew would free me from the darkness
I know I had time of doubts and thoughts of surrendering
Surrendering to the darkness and to hope
But not giving up on that, she came to my rescue
She held me in her arms, the thoughts of darkness slipping away
But even if it comes back, wanting me to return to it’s embrace
I know hope is with me and I know she wont ever let go

New Hope

I opened my eyes
The sight reminding me of where I was
The darkness, the never ending darkness
The panic overpowering all my other emotions
I feel weary once more, the feeling more powerful then before
Then I remember the heavy burden I was carrying
It is killing my hope of ever seeing the light again
All of a sudden there it was, the light that my eyes wanted to see
This time I can see a silhouette in the center
I focus my eyes on it, noticing it’s human
I can hear its voice calling my name
As I start to run towards it, I felt less and less tired
But then for some reason, I looked behind me
Terrified of what I saw, It was I running after me
It was my burden trying to catch up to me
Wanting to take me back into darkness
As I got closer to the light, the mysterious figure starts to take shape
I recognized the face anywhere
She stretches her hand towards me, but before I could reach it
I feel a strong tug from behind
Turning around to see myself once again
My burden tries to pull me away from the light and from her
She’s telling me to fight, but he was just too strong
I was being pulled away from her, but she again tells me to fight
I summoned all my strength and stretched, grabbing her hand
I feel the pull from both sides, tearing my body apart
Closing my eyes I turned back to myself, to my burden
Telling him, “You don’t control me!”
The pulling stops and I opened my eyes
Ready to face the darkness once more
But it was not darkness I saw, but a beautiful sunlight
I see her standing in front of me
I hugged and she hugs back
I’m finally free, free from the darkness and my burden
Now starts a new life, of hope and love

My Eternal Darkness

My eyes opened, scanning the room
I see nothing but pure darkness
I sat up, frozen with fear
I say hello, hoping to hear an answer
But I hear nothingI stood up, saying hello once again
But yet, I hear nothing
I start to run, not knowing where I’m going
No matter where I ran, darkness still surrounded me
I stopped, tired from all the running
Then in the distance, I see light
It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen
I start to run towards it, but it got smaller as I go
I ran faster and faster, hoping to catch it
Yet it sill continued to shrink
One step, two step, and then it’s gone
I fall to my knees, tears streaming down my cheeks
It’s to late, I’m once again surrounded with darkness
My eternal darkness

My Burden

I have this feeling inside
A burden I can't ignore
It wants to escape, to be freed
Like a baby kicking inside it's mother's womb
I want to free it from it's prison
But somehow it just won't go
No matter what I do, it just wont leave
So I'm carrying this feeling, inside my heart
It's getting too heavy
It's making me tired
Just let me sleep, an endless sleep
So I can finally be fre
From this tormenting burden
